Carrie specializes in mentoring a small number of serious students in the study of voice, composition and performance. As a performing singer/songwriter, Carrie's life experiences are an invaluable asset in coaching students who desire to take their craft to the next level. Her submersion in the music and entertainment business in both the Boston region and Nashville, TN allows her to uniquely address the multifaceted aspects of a lifestyle as a performing artist.

Over the course of her career, Carrie has been involved as a session singer, songwriter, co-producer, performing artist, keyboardist, vocal coach, choir director, model and actress. Her experience is also supplemented by a B.A. in Music and an M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as several years of private study in both piano and voice under reputable teachers such as Mark Baxter in Boston, MA and Dr. John Hugo of Lynchburg, VA.

Songwriting Workshops

Carrie conducts songwriting workshops and classes on a limited basis throughout the year, covering such topics as song structure, lyrics, melody, harmonies and rhythm.
